One of Manchester’s most promising new bands

Over the past two months, One-Way Song (aka 1WS) have developed into one of Manchester’s most promising new bands. Arriving at the end of summer 2015 with their first single under their belt - plus a stream of word-of-mouth gigs from the suburbs of Wilmslow, Stockport & Warrington, a strong social media support of over 700 fans on Facebook - One-Way Song challenge precisely what it is to be young in Britain today: in their words ‘never more free, but never more powerless’.

Through this early single ‘When I Was Bully’ the group comprising Angus Macalister, Luke Gilfedder and Manchester Model Danielle Roseler are ready to take the stage as one of the cities most exciting young prospects.

Now, following a darkly evocative music video shot exclusively on the underside of Manchester’s nightlife, One-Way Song are delighted to announce full details of their debut single. Featuring artwork by Finn Youth Productions, the single ‘When I Was Bully’ was released on 17th October 2015.

The video premiered on the 7th October, along with an interview with Manchester Music Website ‘Music Of The Future’ and an inclusion on Radio KC’s November playlist
