a found footage film by Jonas Odenheimer.

Hi everyone, Today we will look at another found footage. Please don’t stop reading, the genre can be sometimes surprisingly entertaining.

Classroom 6 was made in 3 days and was released on the 9th of May in the UK/Ireland on DVD and VOD by Left Films. The film is already out on US,Canada and Scandinavia.

So, what is it all about?

A local reporter and her assembled TV crew go into a school haunted by a horrific past. The team spends the night locked inside the building, capturing any and everything they find.

Sounds like a deja vu? Well, not really. Even if it plays with clichés, it can get a few mentions for the following:

1/ the acting is actually very good.

2/ The tension in crescendo is something that works here, unlike most found footage films.

3/ The actual background noises are used instead of the traditional eerie music... adding to the feeling that this is an actual footage.

4/ There is a sense to it, the film crew installing a myriad of cameras makes you believe that those are actually real events.

5/ for an independent film shot on a budget in 3 days only, it is glorious!
